Depending on the product, a cubic yard of gravel or sand can weigh approximately 2600-3000 pounds; sometimes more. Weather factors, like rain can make these products even heavier as they absorb water.

Yes! We can deliver almost every product we sell. We offer delivery by: -Dump truck -Flatbed truck, including forklift capabilities -Ready-Mix concrete truck Our deliveries are considered "curb side", which typically means unloading in the street or driveway at the street side of the property. Our drivers do their best to unload materials exactly where you want them, but it's always good to have an alternate location available. -Un-deliverable loads are subject to a re-stocking fee and non-refundable delivery charge. Typically 24-48 hours is enough notice for most bulk delivery orders, however same day deliveries may be possible.

Some suppliers "build the cost of delivery into their product pricing" in order to offer "free delivery." Central Coast Landscape Products does not build extra costs into our products, but rather offers materials at a lower price with delivery available separately. This offers better value for you, should you choose to haul products yourself.

Unfortunately, no. We cannot use our loader to dump bulk material in an enclosed vehicle such as a truck that has a camper shell or cover, box van, enclosed trailers. For bulk material pricing, please bring an open bed pick-up or a trailer. If you don't have access to an open bed vehicle, empty bags are available for purchase, or you may bring your own containers. Container and bag pricing is different than bulk pricing, so please check with our sales team to get current pricing.

No, we are open to the public as well as contractors.

Some decorative pebbles are packaged in 75 pound bag, which is roughly 3/4 cubic feet. Coverage varies on the size of rock in the bag. For example: -3/8"-1" size rock (one bag covers approximately 4-5 square feet, 2" deep) -2-3" size rock (one bag covers approximately 2.5-3 square feet, 2" deep) -3-5" size rock (one bag covers approximately 2 square feet, 4" deep)

Generally, for stone that is 1-1/2 to 2" thick, 15-20 pounds per square foot is a good rule of thumb. There are many factors that go into estimating coverage such as thickness of the flagstone and joint size. One of our staff members can assist you with your selection process.
